Good food but service was confusing. I waited nearly 10 minutes for three people to decide to get my order. One was glued to the register and would only take my money. One was chatting about her plans after she got off shift. The last was busily sweeping the floor. I was served and the lady cleaning went right back to what she was doing instead of taking the next order. $18 for a premade sandwich and a bag of chips was ridiculous.
I had the Mediterranean Chicken salad. The chicken was slimy and the mint was missing from the salad. Very disappointing experience. Poor service too!🙁
Better options at chicago airport.
Nice and quiet corner to chill while waiting for connection. Bar server was very kind.
Good service (Titeanna) and good food. No complaints. Ordered Greek wrap.
Food was good but service was curt if not rude. I know it’s an airport environment but you don’t have to let TSA attitude rub off on you. Sorry for wasting your time.
Great quick little spot adjacent to a Starbucks. the quickly roasted sandwiches flat breads and pastries are all very delicious. My only comment would be that the staff was a touch more friendly and engaging. the refrigerated deli has some awesome salads and snacks available as well that look very fresh.
Big box. Incredibly tiny sandwich. It’s kinda funny lol.
Thought the food was good. Premade salad was still good as well
Food was ok, but very expensive and small portions. Friendly staff.
Very, very impressive! I stayed at the Hampton Inn for business and couldn't be more satisfied with the in house restaurant. The first night my flight arrived late and we decided to eat there for dinner. I had the lobster ravioli and thought it was fantastic! The second night was had a business function with a buffet style dinner. Again, everything was excellent. If you in the area, you've got to try this place!
This place is ok. I highly recommend a pizza or a anything they heat up. I also got a cold sandwich and it was unbearable.
We were walking around and so this cute place with a sign everything is fresh and prepared from scratch. We decided to try it, very friendly staff ,great service and top it if the food was awesome.
I haven't been here but it sounds like a lovely place. Sorry for filling out this review but if I don't, Google maps will hound me for months.
Rude when trying to order, food was served cold and stale bread. Not worth the airport price McDonald's has better food and service.
Was pleasantly surprise how great the food was. Fresh, healthy, made right on the spot. 2 thumbs up.
Worth having a taste- if it's a cool breeze and some flavor!!! Stop in
Very good and tasty. Super service
Very very good food ! Great prices as well !
I work at the airport and I really miss you guysAnd my frittata.
I visited with my family. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and the food was incredible.
This looks like a nice little place, with lots of selection and places to sit, in the midst of a very busy terminal at this airport.
Can't really recommend this place if you're looking for food in O'Hare. The flatbreads were frozen-pizza level quality, and for the price was absolutely not worth it. You may think that it's convenient because it's near your gate, but even if you're only a few minutes away from boarding and need something immediately I'd steer clear. Pick up a fruit and cheese box from the Starbucks instead.
Only Mediterranean about this place, is the name
Horrible. Menu is severely limited and they don't have any coffee options apart from a brewed pot! Who does that??? Couldn't even have tea! Waitress was the rudest person I've met in a long time and couldn't even introduce herself, she just wrote her name on our tablecloth. Avoid at all costs.
Quick, decent food.
The food was good, service & atmosphere could not have been better!!
Lady behind the bar did no make us feel welcomed, eye rolled when we sat to eat.
The turkey avocado wrap was inedible. The lettuce and avocado were rotten and there was a piece of plastic cling wrap inside the sandwich. The banana was fine.
Great spot for a quick bite, yummy airport food.
The sandwich tasted OK but it was not cut all the way through so when I picked up half the sandwich, it all fell apart. Not to mention, they asked me to give up my seat and leave after eating there because I wasnt ordering drinks. There is no sign or anything that says seating is for the bar
Ridiculous prices obvious airport price gouging. The veggie sandwich on the jalapeno bagel was excellent and a bottle of water came to $17.
It was very good for airport food
Probably the most affordable food in the airport, but the food looks like it's been sitting there to long, nothing really looks fresh, food definitely not that good.
It was great.. the cheese relleno is served in a tortilla here . The spicy sauces taste awesome
Awful, just awful. The food was undercooked and it tasted off. When I wanted to return it to them they said "oh well". 0 stars
I received one receipt for the flatbread I ordered for $12.59. When I checked my account later that night, I had been charged twice for the 1 product. I am now out-of-state. The phone number for the restaurant has been disconnected and I cannot find another contact number. This restaurant is NOT a place I can recommend to anyone. There is dishonesty there.
Extremely over priced, serving size for meals couldn't feed a three year old, and nothing is labled so you don't know that there a charging you 3.04 for a small Small bottle of water. To top it off the staff is rude and prissy.
I had the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich. While the price was outrageous for what I got the food was actually really good and probably way healthier than some of the other options in the terminal.
For of all this was the best airport food I’ve ever had . I had a chicken parm sandwich that was perfectly made and stayed warm onto my flight. The woman that served me was the rudest girl I’ve ever met. She said “stupid white man” twice and told the lady behind me that she was “a fat goof”. Personally I have never comment on these things or leave reviews but I was so in shock I had to say something about it. In her defense the lady behind me was on the heavy side and I am both white and a man so she was not wrong... I’m just so genuinely taken back that I had to let everyone know , the service here is disturbing. I asked for her name politely and she told me “no you don’t need to know”.If you are looking for a good place to eat , the food is not worth the insults.
La Tapenade Mediterranean Café (inside Chicago O'Hare International Airport), 10000 W, Chicago O'hare International Rd, Chicago, IL 60666 is a nice change of place to enjoy a meal while at the airport. Great tasting food, nicely decorated and overall nice ambiance considering you're in the airport.
Surprisingly good for airport food. Sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and friendly. We got the portabello griller and roasted vegetable feta flat bread. Both were good with fresh vegetables.
The staff and the surrounding of this locally managed cafe truly hit the spot. I will go back for sure. The pricing is easy with quality in food that explains how the places has been open for as long as it has
Ordered a Chicken Mozzarella Panini. Took two bites to discover there was no chicken in the sandwich. BUYER BEWARE! I sent it back and received another Chicken Mozzarella Panini. This time it had chicken and mozzarella but no sun dried tomatoes, no basil and minimal onion. The sandwich is not that big and not worth $11.29! Sent the sandwich back and got a salad. The salad looked acceptable.
Not enough substance to the baguette substance
Good tacos! Make sure you ask for their hot hot sauce. It's gooood
Great cafe awesome service and delicious food very good quick stop
The place is very small. Food is good but not that great. You need to bring in a real middle east food and taste. You are misleading the costumers when you are saying Mediterranean cafe. It is not ? Please have real and true food.
Very poor experience overall. I ordered a sandwich, they gave me attitude and the wrong order. I understand mistakes happen but this time it kind of felt intentional. The sandwich wasn’t good. I guess I just had whatever was left from yesterday. It’s 9 am, the bread was stale and the leaves were mushy. Starbucks is right next door, don’t waste your money here.
Perfectly decent airport restaurant, certainly not going to knock your socks off, but about what you'd expect.
